Visiting the Auquisamaña Forest in La Paz allows you to enjoy a municipal protected area filled with nature and fresh air. It stands out for its easy trails, birdwatching opportunities (such as hummingbirds), and panoramic views of the Zona Sur. It is an important urban green space for light hikes, yoga, and relaxation.

  • Native flora and fauna: It is home to around 64 species of birds, reptiles, and shrubs—ideal for spotting hummingbirds like the Red-tailed Comet.
  • Hiking and wellness: It features short, 1.4 km circular routes that take between 30 and 60 minutes, perfect for walking, practicing yoga, or meditating.
  • City views: It offers natural viewpoints to admire the surrounding hills and the neighborhoods of the Zona Sur from above.
