Because its impressive reddish canyons, desert landscapes, and legendary mountains offer a unique adventure blending nature, history, and movie-like scenery.

9:00 a.m. We depart by transport toward PALALA RAVINE (Quebrada de Palala) for a hike among reddish mountain formations and a variety of cacti characteristic of this region. We continue to the upper part of Torre Huayco Ravine, where the hike begins toward the northwest, passing through beautiful reddish CANYONS and striking eroded lunar landscapes, similar to a PETRIFIED FOREST—landscapes that took on their unique shapes over millions of years due to strong winds and heavy rain in the area. Further along, we visit LA CASA DEL CÓNDOR (Condor's House), BOTELLÓN, and EL MIRADOR (The Viewpoint). This hike includes a local guide, who will share their traditional knowledge and way of life.

Along the route, we make a stop to enjoy a box lunch.
